Memorial Day 2013

We spent Memorial Day in Wisconsin with Grammy and Poppy. The weather was pretty crummy - we had a slow start to summer weather and Wisconsin sill had snow on the golf course just a few weeks before. But they did get to play outside and built some fun memories.

We left around dinner time and didn't experience much traffic and nobody needed to stop so made it there quickly. On the drive home we left after dinner and all three boys were asleep before we hit the highway. It was a peaceful drive home!

Family fun after (most) of the kids are in bed.

We had one day of rain. Grammy gave each of the grandchildren a gift card to her local bookstore and they loved picking out books.

Helping clean out the window wells.

Going to a friend's "cow beach" has become a favorite tradition of our visits. It wasn't warm enough to swim, but that didn't seem to dampen the fun.
